What launches this collection into orbit, however, is the fusion of the innovative Bioceramic material in rare colors with the key Speedmaster Moonwatch design elements.
What is Bioceramic?
Developed and patented by Swatch, Bioceramic is a composite material that stands out as one of the most innovative in the watchmaking industry. Its unique blend of 2/3 ceramic used in high-end watchmaking and 1/3 biosourced material derived from castor oil, creates a very robust material with a silky matte finish.
